At Rosie’s People, we are committed to operating in a responsible and environmentally conscious manner.
We recognise that climate change presents a global challenge and that all organisations, regardless of size, have a role to play in reducing carbon emissions. While our remote-first operating model naturally limits our environmental impact, we remain committed to reviewing and improving our practices wherever reasonably practicable.
Our Operating Model
Rosie’s People operates primarily on a remote-first basis. We do not operate physical office premises and we do not maintain company-owned vehicles. The majority of our services are delivered digitally using secure cloud-based systems and online collaboration tools.
Indirect emissions may arise from home-working energy usage, business travel for client meetings, digital infrastructure usage and third-party suppliers.
Our Commitment to Carbon Reduction
We are committed to prioritising virtual meetings wherever appropriate, minimising unnecessary business travel, reducing paper consumption, encouraging energy-efficient remote working practices and reviewing supplier practices where proportionate.
Scope of Emissions
Scope 1 – Direct Emissions
Rosie’s People does not generate direct emissions from owned premises or company vehicles.
Scope 2 – Energy Emissions
We do not operate a central office. Energy use occurs within remote home-working environments, and we encourage efficient energy usage wherever reasonably practicable.
Scope 3 – Indirect Emissions
Indirect emissions may include occasional business travel, digital infrastructure and supplier services. We minimise these through our remote-first model and careful travel planning.
Travel and Meetings
We operate a virtual-first meeting approach. In-person meetings are arranged only where they provide clear value. Where travel is required, we seek to combine meetings, use public transport where practical and avoid unnecessary repeat travel.
Procurement and Supplier Considerations
We prioritise digital service providers and remote collaboration tools. Where appropriate, we consider environmental responsibility when engaging suppliers.
Monitoring and Review
Due to our size and structure, we do not currently produce a formal annual carbon footprint report. However, we review this policy annually and monitor business travel patterns to identify practical reduction opportunities.
Governance
Responsibility for this policy sits with the Founder & CEO of Rosie’s People. This policy will be reviewed annually and updated where necessary.
